Angels and Demons Book Review
Angels and Demons is definitely an intriguing book. The plot itself is very convincing. Who doesn’t want to read a story related to Illuminati? Or The battle between faith and science?
It is definitely one of the best topics to write about as this battle between faith and science is almost never-ending. Which can make this book withstand the test of time.
The book is fast pace and intelligently written. Filled with twists and turns. Every page is full of things related to the story and no other useless stuff.
The writing is straightforward. Reading every line is important. The story is told from multiple perspectives. That was like I’m watching a movie.
The book is written in such a way that I was holding my breath while reading it. Don’t get nervous about the length of the book you will get engrossed in it once you start.
There are many debatable topics between Religion and Science. To show the perspective of both sides. Just be centrist while reading them.
Robert Langdon is a realistic character, who is smart, and intelligent but has shortcomings. Vittoria Vetra was impressive at the start as a scientist but later she was not. She was overshadowed by Robert Langdon.
The story will make you doubt every character who might be involved in the conspiracy.
There are some physics and religion history infodumps which were fine. It might seem complex because of information but it is easy to read and imagine if you’re familiar with Rome’s architecture. The story felt cinematic even though I haven’t seen the movie.
The author has gone to extreme lengths to describe the intricate architecture of Rome. The details are beautiful and give a virtual tour of the city. Which can make you want to add it to your bucket list.
I will highly recommend this book to people who enjoy and want to read mystery, suspense, and thriller and also to people who are interested in the Illuminati or the topic of Religion vs Science/faith.
