Before I Go To Sleep Review
The start was kind of slow but intriguing. This has so many twists and turns. One moment I was like I can trust this particular character but another moment I won’t then again I started to trust them again, then again they are suspicious. It was a loop.
There was some description of every day in the journal which made it a bit boring. That description was definitely to make readers feel what Christine would be feeling but it was a little frustrating to read the same things again and again. But journal entries have definitely revealed many truths and turning points.
Reading the journal entries of an Amnesia patient where she can’t remember anything about the previous day, what she ate, what’s her name, and even not being able to recognize her aged face was very interesting.
I enjoyed reading it. It was a little boring yet intriguing from the start. As the story progresses and reveals the truth it gets interesting and I just didn’t want to put it down. The ending was amazing and I totally loved it. I did get the idea of ending halfway through the book but there was so much more at the end.
Many people don’t like the book at all and many do like this. It depends on your taste in books. If you can still go to the ending even if you’re getting bored then you can definitely try this Mystery Thriller.
Starting was interesting but it got lost after a few pages. But as we reach the ending it definitely gets more interesting.
What I Liked About The Book
Even when I got the idea of ending halfway through the book. The ending had shocking surprises which I wasn’t expecting.
The second half of the book is amazing. I just wanted to keep reading even if it was my dinner time.
What I Didn’t Like About The Book
Repetition of same routine of Christine’s morning made the book little boring to me.
I wanted to leave the book because nothing much of interesting was going on in the story. It gets it’s pace after almost half of the book.
