Here are some Thriller books that are set in winter and are perfect to read in winter. Well you can read them anytime in any weather.

They all are snowy and atmospheric that even if you’re living somewhere that doesn’t get snow you’ll feel the snowy vibes from these books.

All these winter thriller books are different from each other so you can add all of these to your list.

Thriller Books That Are Set In Winter

no exit book by Taylor Adams

No Exit By Taylor Adams

Darby a college student is going back to her home. On her way home because of the storm, she is forced to wait at a highway rest stop with four strangers. She discovers a little girl locked in a cage in the back of a van.

Will those four strangers help her or the culprit is among them? With no signal in the phone will she be able to save the child or not?

I have recommended this book many times and this is still on my list. The story is amazing and keeps to on the edge.

You’ll not know what’s going to happen next. If she’ll be able to save the child. There is suspense and tension in the story with many twists and turns.

Murder On the Orient Express By Agatha Christie

As the title says there’s a murder on the train and there’s a famous detective Hercule Poirot on board. He decides to solve the case because maybe the murderer can strike again if not caught.

The book is about him trying to find out the motives and links between passengers by interrogating them.

The book is divided into many different sections. It is fun to read and see how he solves the case. If you like detective stories or murder mysteries then you might like this.

One by One by Ruth Ware

Co-workers of a company go on a trip to a snow mountain. Things start to go down when an avalanche hits and one by one someone starts to kill them.

They are left with no signal in their lodge. Everyone has a motive to kill others. They can’t each other as the killer is among them.

This is an engaging read. They are an app company. Their app is interesting it lets you listen to songs that others are listening to in real time. The app also plays an important role in the story.

Even if it’s predictable or not you’ll want to know what’s going to happen at the end. If you like a locked room and remote setting story kind of thriller with suspense then you should read this book. It can be predictable but it is enjoyable.

Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone By Benjamin Stevenson

As the title says everyone in the narrator’s family has killed someone. The Narrator, Ernest Cunningham, and his family are doing a reunion at a ski resort and an unidentified dead body is found. Soon one of them is also found dead.

This is an interesting book not just because of the story but because of the way it is written. The narrator directly talks to readers. Yes, he talks to you.

The Narrator one by one talks about how his family members have killed someone in the past. Their past is just as interesting as the current situation they are in. Everything mentioned in the story is related to the main story.

The author is not wasting your time with unnecessary details which is the best thing. Read this if you want to read a new story with a new writing style.

rock paper scissors book by Alice Feeney

Rock Paper Scissor By Alice Feeney

It follows a couple, Adam and Amelia. Their marriage is falling apart. They won a trip to Scotland. They both know this weekend will either make or break their relationship.

Adam has had face blindness his whole life. He can’t recognize friends or family, or even his wife. For every anniversary Amelia writes letters for Adam but doesn’t give them to him.

One of them is lying. They didn’t just randomly win this trip and someone doesn’t want them to live happily.

This is spooky and creepy with many twists in the end. it has multiple POVs. The book also lets you read the letters that she has written in those years. It is an intriguing and engaging read. There is a lot that happens in the story. It’s best if you just go into this book blindly.

These were my winter thriller book recommendations. Hope this was helpful and you have found something to read.
