Synopsis of Twisted Hate

He hates her…almost as much as he wants her.
Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn’t charm—except for Jules Ambrose. The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has.

When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that’ll get her out of his system once and for all: enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules. No jealousy. No strings attached. And absolutely no falling in love.

Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who’s focused
on one thing: passing the attorney’s bar exam. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable no matter how good-looking he is.

But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there’s more than meets the eye of the man she’s hated for so long. Her best friend’s brother. Her nemesis. And her only salvation.

Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them or destroy everything they’ve worked for.

Twisted Hate Book Review

I loved the banter between Josh and Jules. Sometimes they are irritating and sometimes they are hilarious. I had so many hopes for this book. I expected funny and hilarious scenes in the book which are there and I loved that part of the book.

It was good in the very beginning but when they got into the arrangement thing it was a huge turn-off. It made things so predictable like you can guess when and how they’ll gonna fall for each other.

Jules Ambrose, I loved her character in the previous book because of her carefree (or careless) and funny behaviour. It has shown how bad things were with her in the past. All the things she did just to survive. This book’s Jules was very different from previous ones.

Josh Chen is a very interesting character. He is smart, funny, and also irritating. Well, the most normal man in this book series. His relationship with Alex is amazing and funny. Their normal talks sound like they both are annoyed with each other.

The way Josh reacted to the truth Jules told him was very very bad. That was not good for the story. No one likes that stuff happening and looking at the main character doing that sets a negative impression of him.

The traumatic childhood angle seemed kind of forced as if the character needed something like a bad past so let’s add that to the story. It didn’t feel real which was kind of disappointing. Still, somehow it was made fit to the story.

All the friendships whether it’s between girls or Josh and Alex they are amazing and fun to read. There wasn’t much in previous books about how Josh and Alex’s friendship is but this one showed how they both are with each other.

All the characters are interesting even if they are boring. I just have this feeling I’m gonna love Twisted lies(book 4) because I’m loving Christian Harper and Stella is still very much mysterious.

The ending was very good I enjoyed the whole scene of Jules and Josh with Ava and Alex. No matter how many things I didn’t like in this book or the series till now but it has been a very enjoyable read.

Why You Should Read Twisted Hate

Do you love enemies to lovers trope? read this one. Both characters don’t like each other for many years and now they are getting attracted to each other.

Want to read a steamy book with enemies with benefits? Then this should be on your list.

If you like to read books in which the main male character is alpha, and possessive then this book will be an enjoyable read for you.

Read this one if you like the banter between the characters and want some good laughs.

My Final Thoughts

I left this book in the middle for a few days and moved to a different book because I wasn’t liking their arrangement thing. Then again I started reading this one and I liked it better this time. So I have kind of liked and dislike this book.

What I Didn’t Like

The way Josh treated Jules after knowing the truth. It just pissed me off. How can a main character be like that? It’s not good. He said things to her which were her insecurities. It made Jules look stupid going back to him.

Jules’s past story felt forced to fit in the story. As if just wanted to give some traumatic childhood to the character.

What I Liked

Jules and Josh’s banter is one of my favorite thing in the book, even more than their chemistry. It was very fun to read.

I wanted to know about Alex and Josh’s friendship bond which was missing in Twisted Love but we have that in this book. I loved seeing both of them together.
