There are four books in this Romance, New Adult Fiction series. These can be read as a standalone but I would suggest you read it in series order. If you don’t like one story maybe you’ll like another as all the characters are connected and are present in all four books.
Twisted Series In Order
This series follows 4 couples. The female characters are best friends and that’s what makes these books connected.
Male characters are possessive, powerful, and morally grey. If you like reading these types of characters then you might enjoy this book.
A detailed review of each book is available. If you have some triggers then make sure you check out them as there are different TWs in all four books of this series that are also available in separate reviews on the blog.
1. Twisted Love Book
Alex has to look after his friend Josh’s younger sister, Ava, as Josh is moving to another city and Josh doesn’t want to leave Ava alone because of their traumatic past.
Alex is a grumpy and cold person. He is rich and CEO of his own company. Ava on the other hand is a warm and sunshine personality. These opposite personality gets attracted to each other.
Alex has past and hidden intentions he wants to achieve.
The story is enjoyable. If you want to read spicy books then this one has that. It won’t be disappointing in that matter.
Twisted love has Brother’s best friend trope. My favorite part of this book was the operation emotions that the girls did on Alex. It was funny in fact the best thing in thing in the book.
Alex is not that impressive. This was less detailed and there’s a huge time jump. There was more telling rather than showing.
2- Twisted Games Book
Bridget is a real princess. When her old bodyguard is on leave, she is appointed a new bodyguard, Rhys Larsen. Bridget’s brother has stepped down from the crown for love. That leaves her only with one option which is, to take over and get married to a royal before her coronation.
The court thinks that non-married Queens are not powerful. Unexpected and forbidden, theirs is a love that could destroy a kingdom and doom them both.
It’s engaging to read how they solve problems together.
Rhys is a very strict bodyguard compared to Bridget’s previous bodyguard. That led to snapping and tension between them since the beginning and that’s very fun to read.
I love the whole Princess vibe of the book. I love Bridget. She is a Queen even without a crown. If you love strong FMC then she is one of them. Bridget has really taken the limelight in this book.
Bridget felt like a real princess but Rhys didn’t feel like a real person. He was just a fictional character. That made Rhys a bit boring at some point.
Again in this book too there was a huge time jump in the beginning. I wanted to know how their relationship developed over all these years. This one is better than the first book Twisted Love.
3- Twisted Hate Book
Josh doesn’t like Jules. He sees her as a bad influence on his sister. Jules too doesn’t want Josh as he has always been mean to her.
Jules is preparing for her bar exams and Josh is a doctor. Somehow they both end up working at the same place.
They both had a bit of feeling, so they got into an arrangement. With one major rule- no falling in love.
Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them or destroy everything they’ve worked for.
This is Enemies to Lovers. The banter between Josh and Jules is amazing. They are hilarious. After reading the previous books I was expecting that in this book and it was great I enjoyed those scenes.
Jules is one of my favorite characters. She is carefree- or careless whatever you say but she is amazing.
Josh is the most human male character in this series. I don’t like the way he treated Jules after knowing the truth that was so bad. I’m so pissed about that scene. It’s not how a main male character should react. It’s negative. It made Jules look stupid for being with him.
Christian Harper made his entry in this book by reducing Jules and Stella’s rent. Which was sweet. Josh and Alex’s friendship is something you’ll see more in this book it was missing from Alex’s book- Twisted Love but this book has all about their friendship.
To be honest I left this book in the middle because it wasn’t enjoyable then after some days I again started reading it. It was a good and fun read.
4- Twisted Lies Book
Stella Alonso is a fashion influencer and Christian Harper is the CEO of one of the best security companies. They both get into fake dating which will help both of them in their professional life.
Stella has a stalker and Christian has a huge problem going on with this security company.
Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted by lies…and when the truth are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.
This is a slow-burn romance. This has more details than previous books with no long-time jumps and also is my favorite among all the books.
Stella is very relatable. It’s interesting to read about her as she was mysterious in previous books. Whether it was fake dating or an actual relationship their chemistry was good. The slow burn was killing me.
There are so many scenes of all of them and all are hilarious. Josh gets jealous of Christian, Christian gets jealous of Mr. Unicorn(a toy), and Rhys teases Christian and Alex with his cold behavior all these are amazing.
The one negative thing was there was so much going on and revealed at the same time. The stalker’s revelation was someone with no suspicion. If there were some hints before revelation it would have been better.
This is the last book in the series and longer than the previous books, with more details. There’s an epilogue that shows how their life is after some years. The whole series is wrapped up very nicely.
Despite having some problems with this series I liked and enjoyed reading it. Twisted series is an entertaining romance book series.
Here’s my personal ranking of the series:-
1st- Twisted Lies
2nd- Twisted Game
3rd- Twisted Hate
4th- Twisted Love
